Refund
Policy
This policy outlines the refund terms for learners and tutors on the HomeGuru platform. Please read carefully before making any payment.
For Learners
If you are not satisfied with your Tutor, you may request a Tutor Replacement. If still not satisfied after replacement, you may request a refund.
- Indian users will be charged a 5% platform fee on the refund amount
- International users will be charged a 10% platform fee on the refund amount
- The remaining amount will be refunded accordingly
Refunds are not applicable for no-shows, misuse, or sessions already consumed.
For Tutors
Tutors must pay a ₹499 listing fee valid for 365 days. This fee is non-refundable and only provides profile visibility.
- HomeGuru does not guarantee students, bookings, or earnings
- Leads may be shared via app or WhatsApp notifications
- Tutors are responsible for converting leads and maintaining profile quality
- Payments for completed sessions will be processed weekly, subject to platform commission
General Terms
HomeGuru reserves the right to approve or reject refund requests and take action in case of misuse.
By using HomeGuru, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
